Fleet Operations Manager, NE Region
SUMMARY: Coordinate and manage fleet vehicle operations and quality media and event program execution including fleet maintenance and tracking, driver supervision, logistics, and warehouse management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and manage the care and logistics of client-owned vehicle fleets, equipment and materials in excellent
working order, care and condition.
Recruit, hire, train and manage drivers to support press fleet and press event program activity supported by the
regional office. Maintain driver labor and shift schedules each week to optimize labor spending and costs of
drivers. Manage driver performance and development.
Maintain and manage the regional operations facility.
Manage vehicle preparation, loan pick-up and delivery logistics.
Train and test drivers on vehicle knowledge and presentation abilities for individual vehicle models required for
lifestyle and social media vehicle walk-around presentations in compliance with DriveShop training guides.
Adhere to any client specific requirements (e.g., prep, presentation, paperwork, etc.).
Conduct periodic drug screening, DMV and background checks on regional office drivers.
Oversee and coordinate shipping and receiving materials to/from regional office locations.
Coordinate receipt/shipment /activation and turn-in of new vehicles per client protocol.
Assist with program management, fleet office operations and event production support as needed.
Perform work on weekends and evenings to meet applicable deadlines, when needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position have supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four year college or university, or one to two years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: Working proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel required.
Certificates and Licenses: Approved driving record and valid driver license.
