Mercedes-Benze / Rock in Rio
Held in Rio, Madrid and Lisbon, Rock in Rio is the largest music festival in the world. The first US edition in their 30-year history took place in Las Vegas this past May with headliners Metallica, No Doubt, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift. DriveShop worked with Rock in Rio and IEG to design a promotional partnership tailored for the needs of an automaker. The fit was a perfect match for Mercedes-Benz. Working with Mercedes-Benz and the team at Engine Shop Agency, DriveShop managed the shipment, set-up and operation of the Mercedes-Benz Iron Schöckl, an off-road drive experience uniquely suited to capabilities of the G-Class SUV. The event was a huge success for Mercedes-Benz and guests waited 2+ hours, keeping the Iron Schöckl and DriveShop running at full capacity for 4 days straight.
