DriveShop is an engagement-marketing agency working exclusively in the automotive industry to promote public relations, social influence and experiential marketing campaigns that inspire people to fall in love with their next new car. We are a national agency with offices throughout the U.S. supporting most major automakers. In 2017, we’ll coordinate and publish thousands of individual test drive reviews with billions of impressions, activate thousands of consumer event days with tens of thousands of consumer test drives and direct conversations to over a million prospective new car buyers on behalf of our automaker clients.
We’re looking for a proven executive with experience developing and managing a network of multi-location operating units to join our management team as an Executive Director, Operations. We will equally consider candidates with experience in corporate-owned, licensed dealers, independent contractor or franchise management. Experience with automotive and automotive related businesses is desired. Proficiency working in a performance management organization with established weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual scorecards for operating metrics and financial targets is required. Demonstrated expertise developing and maintaining individual, professional relationships with a network of regional directors (as employees, vendors, contractors, dealers or franchisees) is necessary. Experience in public or media relations, marketing or promotions is a plus.

Your experience in a fast past, high-growth business will be a great foundation for the ever-changing requirements and service demands on our national operations network. You must be able to add value to key business development, account management discussions as a trusted consultant while at the same time, coaching and developing regional directors across the country to meet the service and quality demands of our fast-growing business. Your ultimate responsibility is ensuring DriveShop maintains operational quality and service leadership for our industry through our continued explosive growth.
This position reports to the VP Corporate Operations based in our company’s HQ in Redmond, WA. However, this position can be based in Los Angeles, CA or Redmond, WA. Ability to lift 50 lbs along with a valid driver’s license and availability to travel 50%+ seasonally is required. Minimum 10 years of management experience required. Demonstrated strong written, verbal and presentation skills as well as data analysis and reporting are necessary. Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA preferred. Compensation is competitive, dependent on experience and includes salary, benefits and metrics based annual performance bonus.
